𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐊𝐁𝐂 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝟖, 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧

Eight people, including children, were killed when the Military Council carried out a bombing near the KBC Church in Konelaw Village, Momauk Township, Kachin State.


According to local residents, the attack, involving an aerial bombardment by the Military Council near the KBC Church in Konelaw Village, resulted in the immediate deaths of seven children and one adult.


The incident took place in the evening in Konelaw Village, which is located along the Myitkyina-Bhamo road. The Military Council used fighter jets to conduct the bombing.


“It fell straight into the church while the children were playing. Many people were injured. The exact number of injured patients is not yet known,” said a local resident.


Local sources reported that eight people were killed instantly in the airstrike. The number of those seriously injured remains unclear, and the death toll could rise as the situation is still under investigation.
