On November 12, 42 policemen stationed at the police station and General Administration Office in Falam Township, Chin State, surrendered to Chin ethnic resistance forces. Reports indicate that while the police station and General Administration Office have been captured and resistance forces are now present in Falam city, the 268th Infantry Battalion camp is preparing defensive measures on the hill.

“Heavy weapon fire is coming from the 268th Infantry Battalion. The camp is positioned at an elevated location on the hill, where the Tactics Commander is personally stationed. A significant number of troops have gathered there,” a source from the Chin resistance movement stated.

The attack on Falam was carried out by Chin ethnic resistance forces, including the Chin National Front (CNF), Chin National Defense Force (CNDF), and Chin Brotherhood forces.
