On November 26th, the Arakha Army (AA) intercepted a junta reinforcement column near Gwa Township, resulting in the deaths of 58 soldiers and the capture of four individuals, including a captain. Among the deceased were many recently trained recruits.
An AA military source reported that the column came from the Ayeyarwady Region. Intense fighting continues, with direct confrontations between the AA and the junta forces.
The junta reinforcement column included many young and inexperienced recruits, some as young as 15 or 16 years old.
