U Kyaw Zaw, spokesperson for the National Unity Government's (NUG) Presidential Office, has reaffirmed the NUG's commitment to protecting foreign investments in Myanmar, including those from China.

In a press briefing, U Kyaw Zaw stated, "According to our National Unity Government's policy on China and the established investment policy, we have clearly announced that revolutionary forces will not target commercial facilities that are not military targets."

He emphasized that the NUG is actively working to safeguard these investments on the ground. "There is no reason to protect China's interests by working with Min Aung Hlaing's military group," U Kyaw Zaw said.

The spokesperson further explained that China can effectively protect its investments and business operations in Myanmar by cooperating with the NUG and the revolutionary forces supporting the people of Myanmar.

U Kyaw Zaw concluded by expressing hope that neighboring countries, including China, will stand with the people of Myanmar and contribute to the country's stability and regional economic growth.
