The Pa'O National Federal Council (PNFC), the Pa'O National Liberation Organization (PNLO), and the New Mon State Party (Anti-Military Dictatorship) announced on August 7 that they will stand and fight alongside all ethnic armed forces, including the Three Brotherhoods Alliance, in a collective effort to build a federal union and completely abolish Myanmar's military dictatorship.


The statement also congratulated revolutionary forces, including the MNDAA, on the capture of the Northeast Command Headquarters in Lashio. PNFC Chairman U Khun Myint Tun said that they will continue to cooperate both militarily and politically.



"In the New Year's announcement of the Three Brothers, we believe it is important that we all work together, and we will cooperate in a balanced way, both militarily and politically," he added The National Federal Council (PNFC) is fighting alongside the Pao National Liberation Army (PNLA) in southern Shan State and the Karenni Army (KA) on the Shan-Karenni border. After the joint forces of the Kokang Army (MNDAA) took control of the Northeast Command Headquarters in Lashio, the Karen National Union (KNU), the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP), and the Chin National Front (CNF) announced on August 4 that they will continue to fight until the fall of the coup army.
