Supreme Council rejected

Sources close to the court said that on February 15, the Federal Supreme Court of the Military Council rejected State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's appeal for two counts of corruption.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi should accept the appeal submitted by the Nay Pyi Taw Prison Court against her sentence of two years in prison for the case where the military council accused Aung San Suu Kyi of accepting a bribe of US$550,000 from U Maung Wait, a businessman. U Maung Wait testified that this money was not given to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi but donated to be used at the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation. Those close to the court said that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi testified that the case was unrelated to her and that she would proceed with a special appeal. It is said that after hearing both sides, it was rejected.
In addition, their lawyers filed an appeal to the Union Supreme Court in Nay Pyi Taw on February 14 regarding the 5 cases ordered against President U Win Myint and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi related to the purchase and lease of helicopters during the Prime Minister's administration.
`The Supreme Court of the Union Hluttaw does not even give the right to appeal. According to Article 19 of the Constitution, the right to appeal must be granted,'' said a person close to the court judiciary in front of the public except for legal restrictions. In these cases, the right to defense and the right to appeal are stated.
2021 Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been arrested since February 1, has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for 19 cases. The Military Council has transferred President U Win Myint to Taung Ngu Prison, and Aung San Suu Kyi has been detained in Nay Pyi Taw Prison.
