At around 8:00 a.m., the planes fired at the coastal neighborhoods. They bombed. There were civilians, priests, and children who died. There were about 10 people who were hit or killed. Now I can hear gunshots. I don't dare to go out. As soon as I go out, the army shoots me," said a resident of Kyainseikgyi.
Telegram channels reporting the news of the Military Council are reporting that civilians, including monks, were killed when the KNU/PDF joint forces attacked the battalion headquarters and security forces in Kyainseikgyi Township.
