The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of NUG continues to provide food to displaced people.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has announced that it is continuing to provide food to displaced people in Mandalay Region.
People from villages in Thabeikkyin Township, Singu Township, Madaya Township, Mahlaing Township and Myingyan Township, Mandalay Division who fleeing the war because of the terrorist military group, fallen heroes and soldiers, surviving families of CDMer heroes and unjustly arrested political prisoners were provided by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of NUG. The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of NUG has also informed that the assistance is provided by people-to-people donations.
It’s also stated that during the period of 3 months from June to August, a grant of 22,721,000 kyats was given to public administration organizations for food. Humanitarian Officers, the strike forces, and civil society organizations have cooperated and supported each other.
